Whew! We are happy to say that our photo shoots are now history, and we have hundreds of fabulous new photos to look through and choose for our Southern Bride & Groom 2010 spreads. (Let the writing and layouts commence!) A lot of planning and organizing goes into each shoot, and a lot of forethought by our talented publisher Donna. Then, of course, there is the happy coincidence of gifted photographers, talented professionals, beautiful locations, classy items and vendors, and a teeny bit of luck all colliding at one time... that's what makes it so much fun!
First, our Fashion Shoot.
The Fashion Shoot involved gowns from three of our shops, as well as the talents of several hair and make-up professionals. Photographer Neil Boyd is shooting model Cori, wearing a gown from Victorian Rose Bridals, at The Matthews House. Fortunately, the weather was very cooperative that day!
Next, a Mini Floral Shoot.

Mike Bayley photographs Ann wearing her own gown (from Alexia's), and holding a bouquet from Flowers by Gary. In the background is a table set with Gary's floral display. The shoot features the new Cotton Room at the Golden Belt, soon to open.
Then, our Invitation Shoot.
Photographer
Dara Blakeley was inspired by our many talented invitation vendors, and set each invitation up creatively to showcase it to the best advantage. The original plan was to shoot outside, but nature had other ideas that day, so we went to Plan B on the porch, with various props. Here she is shooting an attractive set by
Floral Dimensions.
And, last but not least, covering an annual Triangle NACE event...

Cristobal Perez of
Azul Photography documented the delightful tables at the annual NACE Top of the Table competition and fundraising event last night, held at Bay 7,
American Tobacco Campus. This pretty silver and brown table featuring B&W photos was entered by fellow photographer
Katie Hamister.
